Spring Open House and Herb Sale
Spinach and Chinese cabbage ready to harvest in our greenhouse.
Join us at the Farm for a day of education, and fun! Presentations about growing and using culinary herbs, honey bees and honey production, Clover Creek Cheese Cellar. Herb and vegetable plants to browse and shop in the greenhouse. Baby animals to visit, walk in the pasture and see our cows, chickens and sheep, enjoy a quick lunch at the farm while you shop!
Tentative Schedule:
10AM Clover Creek Cheese Cellar, raw milk cheese and other products
11AM Debbie Byler, growing and cooking with your own culinary herbs. Free herb plant for participants!
11-1PM Lunch served in the market kitchen: Hotdogs, sloppy joe, baked beans, mac n cheese, Ritchey’s drinks and icecream
12PM Visit the pony, baby goats, and puppies in the barn!
1PM Take a walking tour of our pastured animals with Rita. See beef cows and calves, sheep and lambs, egg layer hens, and pastured broiler chickens. Ask all your animal questions enjoy the beauty of the pasture and woodlands of the farm.
Our own herb and vegetable plants will be for sale all day. These are the varieties we choose to grow for our market. They are chosen for flavor, ease of growing and interest!
